Preliminary Script and Video Ideas

PSA
-Rachel Ray like spoof
-Flour in face thrown by Fran the Trash Man

Fran picks the ingredients out of the trash, yells at her for throwing such valuable ingredients away.

Picks up pan drippings or something not pleasing and exclaims that he can use it to make x.

Fran proceeds to reuse the old ingredients to make something gross, but a second round meal.

Gets more serious at the end, voiceover public service announcement. Slow motion of Fran cooking. Cut to Rachel ray crying in the corner.

---
The exact lines of Fran will be determined later. Mostly ab libbed etc.

Big Chef Hat

Every time he picks something up he smells it, really over the top.

Zooming in on him mixing the meatballs etc. Gross sounds

“Ladies man” persona, talking about his “special lady”

Slurping up the sauce out of the spoon, dropping the meatballs on the floor eats it

“Coming up next time” etc.

Inside shots, panning the food
Different shots: Making the Espresso etc.
Voiceover of the history of Vaccaros/background information
What makes it famous etc./ Most known for

Interview the chef
What’s a favorite there
What brings the people in?
Make an appointment with chef
Maybe show them making the pastry
Interview some customers and ask them what their favorite food is

Same formula as Vacarros
While vacarros is traditional, Dangerously Delicious is nontraditional

-----------

I'm really looking forward to the dessert showdon shoot. I'm a big food fan, especially local restaurants that are unique, such as Dangerously Delicious, a pie shop in Federal Hill that is open until Midnight and has different flavors each day. I'm also looking forward to getting some cool food shots, as well as interviews with the owners to gain an insight into their business. Also, the spoof commercial should be pretty funny, I'm sure Fran will be pretty ridiculous.
